The pods are measured and classified one by one according to the quality, moisture content, length, the color, split vs non-split and grouped into bundles.

Refining prolongs the enzymatic reactions while controlling the humidity level of the vanilla. The pods are placed in pine trunks to further slowdown the drying process while allowing the aromas to develop. The refining stage lasts 3-4 months, but can extend up to 2 years to obtain the famous frosted pods.

At this point, the products are wrapped with wax paper and packed in 20kg or 25kg cardboard box for vanilla beans; and wrapped In 10kg bag and put in 20kg cardboard for powder. The shelf life is at least 2 years but can be much longer if kept at 15-30C, dry and not exposed to light during storage.
